Why did you choose Costa Rica?
Dan and I vacationed there together about 4 years and both feel in love with the peacefulness, beauty, perfect weather and friendly people. We wanted to share it with our family and friends as we start our lives together surrounded by the Costa Rica beauty and the Pura Vida way of life. We couldn't have picked a better place that fit both of our personalities and love for the surf and sun.
My favorite clothing item is...A great pair of jeans...that fit just right!
My perfect day is... A day of "nothing" with Dan.
Favorite element in the wedding...
Oh, so many things to choose from! I would have to say that I am so excited to wear my royal blue rhinestone heels. They are gorgeous and just peep out under my dress. I had so much trouble finding the perfect shoe but all of the looking definitely paid out. Lets just hope that I can dance in them :)
My advice to other destination brides...
Don't stress the little things that you have no control over. The great thing about having a destination wedding is that it should be carefree. Find someone, like Larissa :), that you can trust and who is an expert of the local vendors and area. Let them take care of the details. All you have to do is show up, enjoy your vacation and say "I Do." The rest will all magically fall perfectly into place!
My 3 favorite wedding blogs are...I must be honest that I am not much into blogs though while planning my wedding I definitely found The Lazy Bride helpful when I had a specific question. It is so helpful to hear things first hand from other brides, vendors or planners that have also experienced what it is you are going through. I also spent alot of time on TheKnot.com scrolling through many of their articles and blogs.
