Ana & Nicola - Discovery House, Manuel Antonio
She's from Madrid, he's from Sardinia and they marry in Costa Rica - oh so international. Ana and Nicola brought their nearest and dearest to the jungle-kissed beaches of Manuel Antonio for their 10-11-12 wedding and what a party it was! These triathletes scored a gold medal in the style department (love the bride's flamenco-inspired dress!) and with the weather (a sunny day in November - yes!). The Discovery House was the perfect setting, allowing for an intimate beach wedding, dinner in their dining area and dancing pool side. Huge thanks to Randy Gritz for ensuring Ana's dream wedding was perfectly planned and to El Velo for capturing the day so beautifully!
Fun bouquet of white gerbera daisies - so cheery!
Love the details on her dress!!
The staff at The Discovery House made the towels into a 'wedding cake' for the couple. Too cute!
Dinner was held in the Discovery House with one, long imperial table, outfitted in black, white and fuchsia.
This flower girl took her job verrrryy seriously.
Nico's mother performed a lovely Sardinian wedding tradition, where she blesses and welcomes the bride into the family by tossing flower petals at her and then breaking the plate. Each guest received a gift from the couple as well, another Italian wedding tradition.
The backyard of Discovery House is on the beach under a grove of trees, providing much appreciated shade and privacy.
Green hydrangeas and fuchsia roses with a touch of ribboning for the bamboo canopy. Love the back of Ana's gorgeous dress!Felicidades Ana and Nico! It was such a pleasure working with you!
