Real Wedding- Adeela and Tim, Cala Luna
Adeela and Tim had a dreamy wedding at the equally dreamy Cala Luna in Playa Langosta. It was a celebration of love and culture, as Adeela's Pakistani roots were a touchstone throughout this fun weekend.
How adorable are these invitations, mimicking an old Costa Rican passport and antique plane boarding pass?!
All the pretty bridesmaids in a row, wearing traditional outfits in the soft, pastel wedding colours.
Khakis and white dress shirts made for some sharp dressed groomsmen!
The bride in her richly embroidered and bejewelled wedding outfit.
Our colour palette was inspired by seaglass, linen and soft pastels. Paris chairs in white were paired with a light grey linen tablecloth.
Napkins in light blue and pink gave a pop of colour. Glass chargers with seaglass finished off the look
Travel was the overarcing theme for the wedding and the seating card table featured antique suitcases, an old globe, post cards instead of a guest book and seating cards the looked like old-time luggage tags.
The florals were submerged white dendrobium orchids with floating candles and glass vases with a mix of white orchids, roses and lisianthus to create a soft, ethereal feel.
The windswept point of Playa Langosta was the ceremony location, decorated with a driftwood canopy strung with chains of white orchids and flanked by branches with orchids
Colourful parasols kept guests cool under the hot, tropical sun.
The happy bride escorted by her parents.
Love and laughter were on full display throughout the ceremony.
In keeping with the travel theme, tables were named after meaningful locations for the couple and seating cards featured antique map backgrounds.
Candlelight makes everything so beautiful!
When creating your wedding environment, don't forget the power of lighting.
Strings of lanterns and professional uplighting create a magical poolside setting for dinner and dancing.
How magical!! Congratulations again to Adeela and Tim - many years of happiness to you both! Muchas gracias to the wunderduo of A Brit & A Blonde for their fine work behind the lens as always.
