Real Wedding - Morgan & Will at Zephyr Palace
Where to even begin with all this loveliness? First, there is the bride herself, who is one of the sweetest gals on the planet. And one of the most beautiful as well. And talented - check out her jewellery page on Etsy! So no surprise that she wanted a wedding with oodles of style. Our inspiration was the Beverly Hills Hotel meets The Great Gatsby meets the Jungle. And, if I do say so myself, I think we nailed it.First off were the incredible invitations that set the tone. Ceci New York really outdid themselves, and that's saying a lot!I love how Ceci created this custom crest using Morgan and Will's inverted initials, surrounded by palm leaves and monkeys.Check out the silver Jimmy Choos - swoon! Well, a girl's gotta have choices ;) Morgan is absolutely stunning in her beaded Les Habitudes dress! Will looking smart in his linen suit. One stylish couple! One stylish wedding party! Love the maids in blush! And those flowergirls are adorable. The blush and gold colour scheme was used for the ceremony seating chairs, which we reused for the dinner. Cones for rose petals featured the wedding crest. The ceremony set up was stunning on the deck of Zephyr Palace. The large silver vases gave just the right Art Deco touch while the assortment of orchids, lisianthus, hydrandes, lillies and roses were appropriate for a party with Daisy herself. It was a hot day - a REALLY hot day. Morgan and Will had fans that doubled as programs at each seat to help guests keep their cool.Did I mention how sunny it was? We'd thoughtfully included colourful parasols for folks to keep themselves shady. And they look nice in photos so bonus!Morgan personally watercolored every seating card by hand, creating a lovely, soft palette against the plethora of flowers on the seating card table. The tables featured custom-made blush tablecloths, mirrors, silver pieces, artwork from the invitations and loads and loads of gorgeous flowers, such as lisianthus, hydrangeas, roses, gladiolas and, of course, orchids! The effect, with the silver candleabres with towering palm leaves, was fit for the Great Gatsby himself. The gold cake was as delicious as it looked. And the style continued on in an Art Deco-inspired lounge, complete with a speakeasy! With fab DJ Chris Carter spinning the tunes, the dance floor was packed. Great style, great people, great music - only one word for this wedding - GREAT!!Huge props to A Brit & A Blonde for capturing all the amazing details of the festivities.
