Real Wedding - Jenna & Esteban at Reserva Conchal Beach Club, Costa Rica
Jenna and Esteban both have million-watt smiles and they certainly had lots to smile about on their wedding day! A picture-perfect day on the gorgeous beach of Playa Conchal, surrounded by 70 family and friends. Great food, fab music and a whole lot of dancing. I think everyone's cheeks were a bit sore the following day from all the smiling. The super cute invitations set the tone for this super stylish soiree. As the wedding was at the Reserva Conchal Beach Club, many of the guests rented the luxurious villas and condos on site.Colourful bouquets featured lisianthus, roses, hydrangeas, eucalyptus and succulents for a mix of textures.Jenna's dress was, in a word, stunning!!One very happy bride! With a theme of rustic beach elegance, the driftwood arch was a perfect centerpoint for the ceremony. Our Welcome sign in Spanish was a nod to Esteban's family from Peru as well as the setting of Costa Rica.Local musicians set the mood with festive Latin music.Esteban's father was the officiant and he was a true pro! What an incredibly heartfelt ceremony.Decor featured teak wooden benches with aisle markers of driftwood, flowers and succulents as big as your head (they were huge!).Cocktail tables were bright and cheery, thanks to freesia, roses and Lamb's Ear.Love this photo! Just beautiful.Love how the bouquets popped against the green dresses. The reception was held on the lawn, under the stars, where guests dined on long imperial tables, dressed with custom runners Jenna had made.Winds are still fairly strong in the Guanacaste area in February, so we kept the florals low to prevent them from being blown over. Airplants were an unexpected touch, adding some wonderful textures and shapes.Even the walkway at Reserva Conchal is stylish!Dancing pool side, under the stars. What could be better?A large U shaped dining experience with the Pacific lapping the white sand just a few feet away. It was as dreamy in real life as it looks in the photos. The larger wedding cake featured ruffled icing, mimicking the bride's dress. And those succulents and peonies? All made of sugar, by hand. Amazing! After much fun, dining, dancing and singing, guests gathered to release wish lanterns into the night sky, sending their very best intentions for a long and happy marriage to Jenna and Este. Felicidades! Huge thanks to guru.foto for the fabulous photos.
