A German bride, an Argentinian groom, a boho-chic beachside wedding and gorgeous mountain retreat - this wedding had so many magical elements!

The ceremony was held on a beautiful beach in Nosara, in the Guanacaste province of Costa Rica. Woven blankets topped with pillows before a driftwood arch created a relaxed vibe that reflected the easy-going feel of the day which saw every guest recite part of the ceremony script. Fresh pipas (green coconuts) kept everyone hydrated and while the smooth jazz of saxophonist Joe Hrbek kept everyone cool.

An intense downpour at the end of sunset signaled it was time to trek up the mountain to Finca Austria for dinner, drinks and dancing into the wee hours of the night. The large wooden event palapa had plenty of space for an impressive imperial table, filled with colourful Carnival glassware, macrame chargers nestled amongst coconuts, candles and cheery florals.

The couple's boho chic wedding at the beach and fun reception in the mountains was the perfect combination of romance and adventure that their family and friends, who came from around the world to enjoy, guests will always remember.
