Real Wedding - Sheri & Sean at Tulemar, Manuel Antonio
Meet Sheri and Sean, one seriously stylish couple from Alberta (my old home!). They had one of the funnest weddings ever and didn't let a little rain spoil a thing. I mean, look at this photo with those clouds! You don't get that dramatic shot with a sunny day. The colour palette of cheery lavender, pinks and purples brightened up the grey day. How fun are these foot chains for the maids? Personalized hangers always make for a great dress shot. How adorable is this garter? Sheri had a million-watt smile, a rockin' arm tattoo and a dreamy floral crown. The entire afternoon leading up to the ceremony was rainy and grey, meaning we had to go to Plan B (the tent). Nevertheless, the wooden canopy with vines, soft chiffon, a jute runner and cheer pink petals was simple and chic.If the ceremony was minimalistic, the reception was the opposite, featuring a lush table of antique silver pieces filled with lisianthus, roses and agapantos, Moroccan lanterns, candles and colourful ribbons strung overhead. Love these cheery bouquets with lisianthus, orchids, roses, freesia (smells divine!) and eucalyptus.Sheri and Sean lit incense at the beginning of the ceremony as part of a traditional Tibetan bell ceremony to bring harmony. Sean and the boys looking dapper in grey slacks, suspenders and purple bowties! The rain ended just in time for the ceremony, allowing for gorgeous photos on the beach. Customized jute bags held Costa Rican coffee as a thank you gift for guests. Lighting and candles add a cozy yet dramatic touch. Just at the end of sunset, wish lanterns were lit, sending wishes for Sheri and Sean's marriage. Felicidades to Sheri and Sean! Wishing you a lifetime of happiness!
